Our goal is to create an environment of mutual respect. We work to respect your time, and these policies will make it clear how to respect ours

CONFIDENTIALITY The confidentiality of all client information will be upheld unless disclosure is required by law or court order. Your written permission will be obtained before any information is released to another healthcare professional

ARRIVING LATE If you're late, your session will still end at the scheduled time so that appointments following yours can begin on time. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible to pay for the full session.

CANCELLATIONS I require 48 hour advance notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows time for someone else to schedule an appointment in your place. If you are unable to notify me of a cancellation with at least 48 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the amount of your scheduled appointment. Appointments canceled within 24 hours will be charged 100%. True emergencies and illness will be excused at my discretion. If I'm able to fill the appointment slot, you won't be charged. ​

NO-SHOWS Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show". They will be charged for their missed appointment.

INCLEMENT WEATHER Should you need to cancel your session within 24 hours due to bad weather, the normal cancellation policy will be waived and we will reschedule your appointment. We will reach out the day before your appointment if bad weather is forecasted, so that we are in communication and both on the same page. We also reserve the right to cancel and reschedule massage appointments due to bad weather.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE For safety purposes, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to the following: intoxication, derogatory or bigoted comments, sexual or romantic advances, contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes, warts, etc.), illness or infectious conditions.

PAYMENT Clients are required to pre-pay for their sessions, whether they book online or call for availability. New clients must book and fill out intake forms online. Returning clients will receive an invoice via email if I make an appointment on your behalf. I accept both HSA and FSA - I will issue an invoice or receipt apon request for submission to either Insurance for reimbursement or for your health spending plan

SCOPE OF PRACTICE The massage you are going to receive is for the following purposes: stress reduction, pain reduction, relief from muscle tension, and/or increasing circulation. I do not, at any time, diagnose or prescribe medical treatment or pharmaceuticals, nor are spinal manipulations part of massage therapy.

SEXUAL IMPROPRIETY This is a healing environment and there is zero-tolerance for sexual innuendos, language, touching, behavior, etc. If such an occurrence takes place the session will end immediately and the Client will be charged for the full price of the appointment. Law enforcement will be contacted at my discretion.
